SAY's first fundraiser for 2010:
The 30 in 30 Project
Beginning April 1st, each member of our Board of Directors will be asked to donate their time and effort to locate 30 generous individuals in 30 days who are able to provide a *gift of at least $10.00. The result of this project will allow us to accomplish our primary fundraising goal for 2010 by raising $300.00 to apply towards our application for 501 c (3) tax-exempt status with the I.R.S.
This will allow our organization to compete for funding both locally and nationally, fulfill our mission and provide a stable business foundation for future performance ensembles and educational initiatives.
Your generous gift establishes you as a Friend of SAY. With this distinction, you will receive the SAY Quarterly to fill you in on all the happenings of SAY and how your gift is helping us move forward. Also, you will enjoy a 30% discount toward any SAY event and a 50% discount toward one ticket for a ** Florida Federation of Colorguard's Circuit event. As a Friend of SAY, you can be happy to know that your generous contribution supports not only the growth of a superb performance arts activity but also the youth in our community who will have the opportunity to learn, grow and perform.
* Gift is non-refundable as it will be applied to our
501 c (3) application.
** Excludes both regional and finals competition. If you wish to help us reach our primary fundraising goal, then you can download the 30 in 30 form here for your records and contact william@synergyinarts.org. You can provide your gift either through PayPal directly on our site or mail directly to:

"Leaders should encourage children's natural inclination to move and play to promote physical activity in the after-school time period ...
Since many schools do not provide opportunities for physical activity during the school day, the after-school hours provide an opportunity for children to be active without having to change the structure of the school day." The Medical News, August 2009 Dzewaltowski, David; kinesiology department head, Kansas State University
It is proven that afterschool activities which offer performance arts opportunities help those involved better their chances for success, develop their creativity and take a more active role in supporting their community.
